AEPS Educational Series Library

Building Your Educational Library One Series at a Time

Consumers rarely have just one estate planning question.

They have groups of related questions.

Each AEPS Educational Series is organized around a single consumer topic and includes coordinated video packages designed to help you efficiently build a complete educational library.

Whether you prefer speaking from an outline, using a detailed script, or simply adapting the ideas into your own presentation style, each Educational Series is designed to make creating educational content easier while preserving your own voice.

Educational Series #001

Putting the Right People in Charge

One of the most important decisions in estate planning isn't what documents someone signs—it's who they choose to carry out their wishes.

This Educational Series helps consumers understand the different roles within an estate plan while naturally introducing the value of thoughtful planning.

Includes six coordinated lessons, supporting educational resources, and implementation guidance.

Estimated production time: 60–90 minutes for all six lessons.

Best when you want to batch-record a coordinated group of related videos.

Recommended Video Topics

Recommended Video Topics

Not every useful video needs to be part of a complete Educational Series.

These standalone topics are designed to make it easy to choose your next video and begin recording. Each topic includes a suggested title, five talking points, and—when appropriate—a story or state-specific prompt.

Use the points as a simple outline. You do not need to cover every point or use the suggested wording. Personalize the topic based on your experience, your state's law, and the way you naturally explain the issue to clients.

AEPS will continue adding and prioritizing topics based on consumer questions, video performance, gaps in our educational libraries, and feedback from Contributing Attorneys.

Why We Use Educational Series

The American Estate Planning Series combines structured Educational Series with carefully selected standalone topics. This gives you two ways to build your educational library: batch-record a coordinated series or choose an individual topic when you're ready to record a single video.

This approach helps:

  • Build a complete educational library over time.

  • Give consumers a logical learning path.

  • Make video creation more efficient.

  • Ensure important topics are covered consistently across participating states.

As new Educational Series and Recommended Video Topics are added, you'll always have a clear next step for expanding your state's educational library.
