Partner With the American Estate Planning Series™

The American Estate Planning Series™ (AEPS) is a national estate planning education platform built one state at a time.

We combine national education with state-specific guidance, books, and tools—so families can understand their options and take appropriate next steps.

AEPS works with a limited number of licensed estate planning attorneys to ensure accuracy, quality, and relevance at the state and local level.

Why AEPS Exists

Most estate planning information available online is national, but estate planning law is not.
Families often struggle to apply general guidance to state-specific legal systems, which leads to confusion, mistakes, and unnecessary cost.

AEPS was created to solve that problem by pairing:

  • National education covering core estate planning concepts

  • State-specific resources reflecting each state’s legal framework

Attorneys play a defined and intentional role within that system.

Two Ways to Partner With AEPS

Option 1: Contributing Author — State Partner

Role within the AEPS system
Contributing Authors help ensure that state-specific content reflects current law and practice. This role supports the educational integrity of the platform.

Typical involvement

  • Review and contribute to state-specific content

  • Provide guidance on state-specific concepts and terminology

  • Review or approve the associated state forms pack

  • Participate in light annual updates as resources evolve

What this role provides

  • Named Contributing Author recognition in the state guide and on the AEPS website

  • Long-term authority positioning tied to a published, state-specific resource

  • Priority consideration for metro-level Featured Attorney placement

Investment

  • State Contributing Author partnerships are limited and priced based on state size, scope, and availability.

  • Includes onboarding and first-year participation

  • Annual renewal applies for continued participation and updates

Exact terms are discussed individually.

Option 2: Featured Attorney (Metro Partner)

Role within the AEPS system

Featured Attorneys serve as the local professional resource within a defined metropolitan area.
Their role is to provide a clear, trustworthy next step for families who want to move from education to personalized legal advice.

AEPS handles education.
Featured Attorneys handle representation.

Typical involvement

  • Maintain an active estate planning practice in the designated metro area

  • Serve as the featured local attorney on the AEPS website for that metro

  • Participate in light coordination as AEPS state and metro resources expand

  • Optional participation in educational content (articles, videos, or updates)

What this role provides

  • Exclusive Featured Attorney placement for a defined metro area

  • Dedicated metro page on the AEPS website with attorney profile and contact routing

  • Visibility to families already educated on state-specific estate planning concepts

  • Association with a national, state-by-state educational platform

  • Brand positioning focused on trust, clarity, and professionalism — not volume

Exclusivity & scope

  • One Featured Attorney per metro area

  • Metro areas are defined based on population and geography

  • Exclusivity is maintained to avoid competition or confusion for families

  • Availability is limited and reviewed carefully

Investment

Featured Attorney partnerships involve:

  • An initial setup investment

  • Ongoing participation fee for continued exclusivity and platform support

Exact pricing and structure depend on the metro area, timing, and availability and are discussed during the introductory call.

Important notes

  • AEPS does not sell leads or promise volume

  • AEPS does not interfere with attorney pricing or intake process

  • The platform is designed for long-term authority and visibility, not short-term advertising

How Option 1 and Option 2 Work Together

Some attorneys participate in both roles, serving as:

  • State Contributing Author, and

  • Featured Attorney for one or more metro areas within that state

Holding both roles strengthens authority at both the state and local level but is not required.

Exclusivity & Quality Control

To maintain clarity, trust, and platform integrity:

  • Only one Contributing Author per state

  • Only one Featured Attorney per metro area

  • Availability is limited and reviewed carefully

This structure allows AEPS to prioritize education and quality over volume.

What AEPS Is — and Is Not

AEPS is:

  • An education and publishing platform

  • Designed to support informed decision-making

  • Built for long-term, state-by-state expansion

AEPS is not:

  • A law firm

  • A paid-ad lead marketplace

  • A guarantee of volume or outcomes

Apply to Partner With AEPS

Attorney partnerships are reviewed on a selective basis to maintain quality and exclusivity.

The application includes:

  • Licensing and practice information

  • State and metro interest

  • Practice focus and capacity

  • Comfort with a professional partnership investment

If there is availability in your state or metro area, we’ll follow up to schedule a brief introductory call.
