Phase 1: Launch Your State

  • Complete the onboarding process.

  • Submit your biography, headshot, and office information.

  • Record your attorney introduction video.

  • Record your "What Makes Estate Planning Different in [State]?" video.

  • Begin recording educational videos.

What AEPS Will Do

  • Build your state Hub page.

  • Edit and publish your videos.

  • Create YouTube thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and chapters.

  • Launch your state page.

  • Help establish your educational presence on the platform.

Phase 2: Build Your Educational Library

Your Focus

  • Continue recording educational videos.

  • Use the Educational Series Library as a source of professionally developed video ideas.

  • Select the Video Kits that best fit your experience, interests, and the needs of consumers in your state.

  • Continue expanding your educational library over time.

What AEPS Will Do

  • Continue editing and publishing your videos.

  • Organize your growing educational library.

  • Launch your state Resources page once sufficient educational content has been created.

  • Continue strengthening your state's educational presence.

Phase 3: Expand Your Impact

Your Focus

  • Continue creating educational content.

  • Participate in optional Mastermind Roundtables.

  • Share ideas that improve the platform.

  • Help consumers throughout your state make informed estate planning decisions.

What AEPS Will Do

  • Continue expanding the national platform.

  • Develop additional Educational Series and Video Kits.

  • Create new consumer resources.

  • Continue increasing the value of your participation as the platform grows.

The American Estate Planning Series is designed as a long-term educational platform. As additional attorneys join, new educational resources are developed, and more states participate, the value of the platform grows for everyone involved.

Our goal is simple: help consumers learn from trusted estate planning attorneys in their own state while helping participating attorneys become recognized educational leaders within their communities.
